After our inception in 1986, Universal Textiles primarily begun wholesaling a diverse range of hosiery products in and around Leicester. In 2003, we established an internet presence selling retail to customers within the United Kingdom. We acquire most of our inventory from larger high street suppliers which are liquidating or reducing production overstock. We purchase their high quality products in large quantity at premium price points. So our quality is second to none and we cannot be beaten on price. Our intent in introducing our retail operations was to create efficiencies with excess stock so ultimately our clients could benefit.
Our clients are predominantly British, but we are gaining international exposure and clients are purchasing from all over the world, including the United States and the European Union.
We sell a variety of products ranging from socks, thermal underwear, hats, gloves, bedding and many other lines.
