Hello Friends.......

A doctor told me that the body uses cholesterol and sun light to make vitamin D.
He said, that a lot of people are having vitamin D deficiency's these days.
My Mom had it.
I ask if the cholesterol lowering drugs she was on may have caused it.
He said,I don't know,I never thought of that.
What do you think?

Thanks

Hi

You will now also have a calcium deficiency as vitamin D and calcium along with magnesium all work together. Symptoms of vitamin D deficiency includes fatigue, muscle pain and weakness and bone pain but does not cause random bruising. Calcium deficiency causes muscle aches and pains and tingling. The rest of your symptoms could be from either iron or vitamin B12 deficiency. Vitamin B12 deficiency symptoms include fatigue, dizziness, blackouts, tingling, bruising. Iron deficiency can cause a few of these problems as well but not tingling. The rule of thumb with most tests is make sure you are at the top of the reference range.

Thanks
