I would like you to know the precautions to be taken while flying. Air travel has no wrong or significant effect on your health. However, it is a well known fact that travelling long distances in a pressurized cabin altitude does have some effects on the human body. So here I have put together some simple tips to help you make sure that you fly and arrive at your destination in tip-top shape.
>>Always try to change positions often and avoid crossing your legs. Immobility poses the greatest risk effect in developing clotting disorders such as deep vein thrombosis.
>>Get out of your seat frequently and walk around the cabin regularly to improve the circulation.
>>Do the exercises and follow the advices which are given in programmed channels on all flights. That will help you feel more refreshed when you arrive at your destination.
>>Drink plenty of water or fruit juices. Avoid alcohol, tea and coffee or carbonated drinks, as they will dehydrate you.
>>Avoid having heavy meals and foods. Air expands at altitude and heavy meals will result in that bloated feeling.
>>Always wear loose fitting and comfortable clothes and shoes while traveling by air.
>>To minimize the effect s of jet-lag, set your watch to your destination time as soon as you board the aircraft and try to adjust your sleeping pattern accordingly.
